Our Youth Wrestling program is designed for athletes who are ready to learn, listen, and develop in a structured training environment. Rather than setting a strict minimum or maximum age, Rebel Training uses a maturity-based expectation. Athletes should be able to follow instruction, stay engaged during practice, respect coaches and teammates, and handle the structure of a wrestling room.
This approach allows motivated younger athletes to participate while also making sure practices stay productive, safe, and focused. Athletes who demonstrate the appropriate skill set, consistency, effort, and maturity may be considered for advancement into our Advanced Wrestling classes. Movement into advanced classes requires coach approval and is based on readiness, not age alone.

Devin Pomranky is a U.S. Coast Guard Academy alumnus, former varsity wrestler, and team captain who brings discipline, leadership, and a competitor’s mindset to Rebel Training. He is committed to building strong athletes through hard work, accountability, and a culture built on respect and results.
Coach Keys brings 19 years of wrestling coaching experience to Rebel Training, with a background that includes coaching in Colorado, Pennsylvania, Alabama, and now South Carolina. A 4x Nebraska State Qualifier and 3x State Placer, he has helped build athletes at every level, from starting pee wee programs to serving as a head high school coach. His experience as a U.S. Army Combat Engineer and former MMA fighter brings toughness, discipline, and leadership to his coaching style.
